It is indeed a pleasure to be a part of Eicher School Faridabad as Principal of the school. The school has already developed its image and is amongst the top 10 schools of Faridabad. Its state-of-the-art infrastructure, coupled with advanced pedagogical practices, has been helping young minds to hone their innate potential and convert themselves into responsible global citizens over the last 32 long years.
Education, to me, is all about making kids happy, parents satisfied and teachers constantly learning–unlearning how to behave like children inspite of being adults and saturated in their many domains of life. It is for this reason that I promote DTD (Doing to Do) approach over STD (Saying to Do). I also believe in WSA (Whole School Approach) where the whole school does all the action together, be it exercise, reading, writing, drinking water, eating fruits and dry fruits, chanting shlokas, worshipping, meditating, laughing, dancing etc.
School education must help to unite parents and other communities with teachers to ensure the overall well-being of students. The six areas of well-being which need to be built up in schools are Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Financial Literacy, Sexual and Spiritual. Strategic planning with 360 degrees approach to ensure community participation will further ensure the overall well-being of kids, teachers and parents all together. I strongly believe in taking onus rather than blaming others, accepting people the way they are rather than trying to change them all the time, failure as a path of success rather than an antonym of success, and nurturing the child in us in such a way that the child remains alive in us till we die .
Lets join hands, echo the energy of togetherness and harness the joy of collaboration.
